Stop Uganda's Violation of Democratic Freedoms and Rights

We, the undersigned, draw the attention of the world leaders to the following:

THAT

Uganda’s state agents are in violation of the fundamental human rights of its own citizens. State agents, police and the Uganda peoples’ defense forces have engaged in the torture, killings, incarceration and imprisonment of peaceful demonstrators in the current walk to work campaign in Uganda.

Comprehensive governments’ strategies on poverty reduction, tax reduction, high commodity prices and conflict resolutions have been used successfully in other countries to combat protests and riots.

The government of Uganda is in violation of democratic freedoms through incarceration, torture, firing live bullets at peaceful demonstrators and even killings;

THEREFORE,

We the undersigned do hereby request the world leaders especially the President of the United States of America to help bring to a stop the current violation of Human rights, abuse of democratic freedoms and the torture of peaceful demonstrators by the Ugandan state security agents, killing of peaceful demonstrators and firing of live bullets at the crowd of peaceful demonstrators.
