Bibb County School System - Reroute our childrens pick up and drop off stops

We, the undersigned, call on the Bibb County School System to reroute our childrens pick up and drop off stops.

There are a number of children who catch the bus at the firestation at the Macon Gardens stop. 80% of these children live in the back area of the apartment complex, and when the weather conditions are bad, they get the bad end off the deal. The buses drop the kids off at the firestation and they have to walk to their homes.

We the concerned parents would like to extend the dropoff point for a number of reasons. During the morning hours they have to be at the stops so early that you don't feel it safe for your children to be at the stop alone. They also drop off so late in the evening after school has been let out.

We would like for the bus to drop off at the mailboxes for the children who live at the top of the hill and at building 20 for the children who live in the back area of the complex. The areas in which we have described are nuetral locations and fair to all the children.

We ask that you please take this into consideration, and consider the health and safety of our kids.
