A two week consultation has commenced at Bethnal Green Technology College.
Petition:
To the headteacher and governors of Bethnal Green Technology College:
Please say NO to academy status.
We the undersigned urge the governors and head teacher of Bethnal Green Technology College not to go ahead with conversion to academy status and stay within the Local Authority family of schools. We understand the pressures on schools to go down this route, but in these difficult times we believe we are stronger together than apart.
We are concerned that schools going it alone as academies will disrupt the hard work of all of us providing the best possible education for all our children.
Thank you for taking the time to sign this petition, please pass this onto friends and colleagues and raise this issue in your tenants association, workplace or community group.
