Petition Background (Preamble):
The policy concerning geotech risks adopted last December by Council - and thereby imposed upon the residents of Pittwater - appears to be totally unsuitable lumping high risk areas in with low risk areas and imposing additional compliance requirements on areas where the risks are specified to be less than 1 in a 1000.
Many people think the present policy requires to be repealed, reverting to the previous policy, pending the development and adoption of a new policy that makes sense.

Petition:
I support the repeal of the geotech policy adopted by Pittwater Council last December and the reinstatement of the previous policy pending the development of a new geotech policy in Pittwater.
