Move the government to act on Unfair Bank Charges

Petition published by Joe Hunter on Jun 02, 2010

Target: 10 Downing Street

Petition Background (Preamble):

Every day people are incurring ridiculous charges from banks. The supreme court ruled that these charges were fair and just, however how can a bank justify charging a person £75 for going 28p over their overdraft.

These charges are unfair and need to be stopped.

If you feel you have been aggrieved by the UK banks then please sign the petition

Petition:

We, the undersigned, call on the Prime Minister to urge government to instruct banks to refund unfairly extracted charges and to impose heavy restrictions onto what banks can charge.
