Description/History:
The 21 year old age law for purchasing alcohol is ineffective.
If 18 year olds are allowed to vote, go to war, adopt children, buy cigarettes, etc. then they should be allowed to buy a drink every now and then.
Also the evidence shown by scientists are based on ideology rather than scientific results. Once you turn 18, then you are considered a legal adult, and if this is so then the government should change this law.
All 18 year olds are adults and should be able to treat their body however they want.
