Petition Background (Preamble):
There is currently a tweleve week consultation period on the closure of the Glenholme Leisure Complex. This includes the; swimming pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, outside children's play areas, bowling green, tennis/basketball court and skate park.
As you are aware, Crook is one of the most deprived areas in the country so please show your support for your local leisure centre..

We the undersigned, call on Durham County Council to NOT pursue the closure of Glenholme. This will have an adverse effect on the health and well-being of the local community and surrounding areas.
