Stop fluoridating Muskoka Water

Petition Background (Preamble):
Fluoride is a toxic chemical residue of the fertilizer and aluminum industry; an insect- and rodent-icide; added to water under the assumption it reduces cavities.
There are several adverse health effects in which fluoride has been implicated (osteoporosis, thyroid damage, pineal gland damage, bone cancer, dental fluorosis). There is no way to control the dose people receive as fluoride is also present in our food.
It is expensive to add, potentially dangerous to our health, and is added in much larger amounts than occur in nature (.7ppm-breast milk .004-.013ppm). The world health organization has gathered data showing no improvement in dental health with fluoridation.
When in doubt, take it out.
