Dear Romanian Officials,
We the undersigned are horrified by the mass poisoning of dogs in the city of Urziceni - Romania -, even more to realize that the Mayor and the Police of the city not only do not implement the Romanian Law for animal protection, but some how agree with the crimes committed ...
It is very disturbing to know that prosecutors and judges do not take seriously the laws of the country and dismiss cases of crimes against animals.
We ask you all to reconsider your position about the law for animal protection, to fully investigate each and every case of cruelty, and KILLING of strays, to bring to justice those responsible for such illegal activities, regardless of who they are...By continuing these criminal activities and by continuing to cover them up, you will continue to tarnish the image of your own country and you should be held accountable...
We want to remind you that Romania has signed international treaties and conventions, ratified them... and all authorities in Romania should implement them and should apply the LAW.
Please, stop the MASSACRES and punish the criminals...
