In response to the budget uncertainties faced by our Texas Legislatures, Higher Education Institutions have been asked to reduce their budgets by 10% beginning '09-10 biennium.
During that time period, Higher Education accounted for 11% of the overall state budget and of the agencies asked to reduce their budgets, Higher Education accounted for 43% of the reduction.
