This petition is for political action to officially lower the legal age to vote in the UK from 18 to 16.
This is because we believe that at the age of 16, people can leave school, leave home and become a part of working Britain.
We also think that individuals ages 16 have the maturity and the ability to make their own informed descision to vote for a government of their choice.
