It is most unfortunate even scandalous that Goldsmiths is demanding such high fees from students. Many from less well off backgrounds will find such a financial commitment burdensome and would think twice, as a result, about applying for a place at Goldsmiths. I think this is bad for Goldsmiths and sad for students who may be forced to apply for courses elsewhere that don't meet their needs.
